I've been working as a professional photographer since 2002, focusing my business on commercial and wedding photography. Before I came to this, I was a secondary school English and Art History teacher, with a desire to break out creatively. A year of study at The Photoschool brought me a new destiny - photography, and teaching, in combination.

Recently, I acquired a husband, and as a consequence, a new name. We are the proud parents of a noisy siamese cat.

I love the opportunities that being a photographer gives me. In my time working as a professional photographer, I've had reason for travel throughout New Zealand, I've shot from helicopters, taste tested myriad mouthwatering dishes, met some really notable New Zealanders, and perhaps most significantly, put my creative stamp on the most precious day for many couples - namely, their wedding day.

I love teaching photography, and I really really love making pictures.
